The Timeless Trench Wishlist

With Autumn quickly approaching this means new trends are also appearing, one which includes the timeless trench coat. Whether it's the classic camel colour or the modern greys and army green, trench coats never go out of style no matter the season. I've always had a big love for trench coats because of how diverse they can be, you can dress them up with culottes and heels or you can go casual with a pair of jeans and trainers. Considering how much I adore them, I thought that it was only right that I dedicated a post to them showing you all my top 6 favourite picks from a couple affordable high street stores.

Finding The Perfect Back-To-School Bag

From being in year 7, I found that looking for a school bag was always a somewhat traumatic experience due to the fact that I needed a practical yet 'trendy' bag and that I was always on a budget. With the back-to-school season being in full swing, I thought that it would be a good idea to help you find a suitable, affordable and fashionable bag to start the new school year off.

My top tips for finding the perfect school bag:
1. Make sure that it's a suitable size so you can fit your books, folders, pencil case, purse etc in.
2. Go for a neutral colour rather than a bold one like black, white or nude. The reason for this is because you can not only use it as a school bag, but you can also make it versatile and use it as a handbag and this way it will go with every outfit. This is also a useful tip for college and uni students because you don't wear a uniform.
3. Sometimes spending a little bit more money on a good quality bag is better because it won't break and you don't need to keep replacing it.
4. Backpacks are the way forward! They're easy to carry and you can find really fashionable ones if you look at the right places.
5. Lastly, find one with lots of pockets and compartments in because they help to keep your bag organised and tidy.

2. Aldo (also found on Asos)

A Trip To The Trafford Centre

*disclaimer* This blog post is most likely going to be quite a short one due to the lack of photographs that I took whilst at the Trafford Centre, so apologies in advance. However, I still wanted to share the photos that I did take, so I hope you enjoy.

On a rainy Monday morning, my mum and I decided to take a trip to the Trafford Centre for something to do. My main aim was to try and find some new gym clothes because my current gym kit is extremely dull and boring, so in hopes of motivating me to go to the gym more often, I purchased a more fun looking gym kit (woo!) I did have a little peruse of other shops there like Topshop but I was really disappointed with what they had in so I didn't end up buying anything else.

Marks & Spencers flower arrangements are the prettiest things I've ever seen!

I've been eying up this matching bralet and knicker set from PINK by Victoria's Secret on their website for absolutely ages now, and as soon as I saw them in the store there was no doubt about me not buying them. I did originally want the 'neon lemon' coloured bralet but unfortunately they were completely out of stock, so I kept it simple and bought the grey and black one. The main reason why I wanted the bralet was for to wear to the gym over a sports bra with a loose fitting vest top, which I also purchased from PINK.
